Recent ActivityEdenton-Chowan Schools, a progressive school district with a population of approximately 2,400 students, currently has the following vacancies for teaching and administrative positions for the 2011-2012 school year. The school district is located in Northeastern North Carolina, and is approximately a one and one-half hour drive from the Tidewater Virginia area, The Outer Banks, and the growing medical community and expanding business and industries of Greenville, North Carolina. The district has received both state and national recognition for its programs. Interested applicants who hold/can obtain a valid North Carolina teaching license are encouraged to apply.
Announcements Retirement Planning Sessions Offered401K and 457 Supplemental Retirement Plan Information Sessions
Edenton-Chowan Schools will host information sessions on the NC 401-(k) Plan and a the new NC-457 Supplemental Retirement Plan for all faculty and staff members during January 2012. Information meetings are scheduled at each school, however, if you are unable to attend the meeting held at your school, please feel free to attend one of the other sessions offered at another location. All employees are invited and encouraged to attend to learn about the changes and new options with the NC 401K and the new NC 457 Supplemental Retirement Plan available this year to employees. The NC 401-(k) Plan and the NC 457 Plan are supplemental retirement planning options through Prudential Financial Services that is available to you to help you build a better financial future. Our Regional Representative George Davis with the Education and Enrollment Group will be conducting each session to provide you with the latest information on the NC 401-(k) and the 457 Plans and to answer questions that you may have regarding the plans, investment options, and information on how to get started if you do not already have a plan.
